Dales Computing Ltd is a local small computer company trading since Oct 2002. The office and workshop are situated behind Dent Stores, Dent.

At the moment Dales Computing consists of just one member of staff, that is me Danny Smith. Before 2002 I have worked for Dale Computers which was situated at the Unit 1 C Toll industrial Estate, which was part of Dalecom, Telecommunication Systems. After Dalecom decided to focus entirely on telephone systems I Set Up by myself, seeing the need for computer support in the Dales Area which I live in.

My computer knowledge has partly come my Degree in electrical Engineering Systems, which I studied at Leeds Metropolitan University 1995 - 1998 and mainly from my hands on experience since 2000. The thing about computers is that the technology is constantly changing so you are constantly learning new concepts.
I have been regularly servicing computers in the Dent & Sedbergh area, since setting up back in Oct 2002, some of this work has been for companies such as Dalecom, The Picture Palace Card Company and The Roofbox Company. I carry out computer technician work at both Sedbergh and Dent Primary Schools, as well as various departments at Sedbergh Public School.

One of the companies mains strengths is that jobs can be done out of normal office hours in the convenience of the customers home. So if you have any computer problems, software or hardware, don't hesitate to get in touch! No job is too little and some problems can be solved over the phone.
